I Wonder Why by A Traveler from Fort Washington, MD
Sailing date: Dec 2009

Pros:
My daughter loved the pool and Mickey Mouse

Cons:
food, over price transportation from the airport to the cruise ship

I had no problem with the ship. I was expecting a magical experience on this cruise. I was very disappointed. I compared this cruise with the 3 day cruise that I took on Carnival and to me Carnival actually rated better than this Disney cruise. There was nothing magical about it. The only thing that Disney had going for them was the characters. For the price I paid, I was looking for more. I had to pay $150 just to get me and my daughter from the airport to the ship. the food and dessert was bland and the sodas were flat. I alloted myself a certain amount of spending money and ended up using the bulk of it for transportation and tips for the staff. I had no problem with tipping the staff, but had a major problem with the cost of the transportation. It would have been cheaper for me to go to Disney World. I will stick with Carnival.

Dining/Food
The food was bland. Food tasted like it had no seasoning added and the dessert was just as bad and the sodas were flat. The chocolate chip cookies were good.

A Beautiful Experience by Stephanie W. from Cumming, GA
Sailing date: Jan 2008

Pros:
I cannot think of one thing I like more than the other. Everything was an absolute dream!! From the staff to the view, it was magnificent. I loved the fact that my two teenagers had more than enough things to do. I had to have them paged to catch up with them!!

Cons:
What I liked least of all....LEAVING!!! I think we should be able to take our stateroom host home with us!!!

From the moment we set foot on the ship, the staff let us know that they were at our command. Though we were able to board at 1p, we didn't set sail unti 5p, and the staff stood at the doors all day to greet each and every single guest. Our deluxe stateroom w/ verandah was more than enough space for my family of four. The bed was quite comfortable, the shower nice and hot, and our host was a dream. If we left our room for one second, he had it cleaned before we returned. The ship is so clean, you could eat from the floors. Everywhere you turned was someone wiping and sanitizing. The never ending supply of food can be both a plus and a minus for all you weight watchers, but there is enough of a variety to satisfy even the pickiest eaters! The Golden Mickeys (a stage show) rivaled even the Emmy Awards!! You may think you've hit Broadway when you walk into the theater. For all you movie watchers, there is also a movie theater. I am POSITIVELY going back, and I don't have the faintest desire to sail with anyone else!!! My fifteen year old son, and my thirteen year old daughter wanted to stay forever. The staff makes guest feel so safe, that I had no problem sleeping with they were out exploring the ship. Castaway Cay is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. We spent two days there!! I would recommend this cruise to anybody. It's Disney from here on out. PLUS, you get a 10% discount if you book your next cruise before you leave the ship!!!

The ship is huge!! The art and decor is gorgeous!! The Cadillac Room is designed exactly like a 1960's Cadillac. The artistry makes you forget you're on a ship, and think you're inside a five star hotel.

Dining/Food
There is five star dining nightly, and the taste and presentation is phenomenal!! You can look at the food and know a real chef prepared it!! Animator's Palate is a must see for everyone. The entire room is animated!!!

Stateroom Quality
Our Deluxe Stateroom w/ Verandah was more than enough room for myself, my husband, and two teens. There's even two showers in the bathroom!! We were on the 6th Floor Aft, and we felt like we had the best room in the house!!

Ship Staff Quality
The dining staff remains with you throughout your voyage, no matter which restaurant you eat in!!! It's nice to walk into a restaurant on a ship and actually feel like you've bad reservations. They even called us by name!! The staff made us feel as if we were the only things that mattered, and they would do whatever it took to please us!! My children fell in love with our Stateroom Host, Nonoy, and looked forward to leaving and returning to a spotless room with the "towel pets" on the bed.

Entertainment & Activities
The Golden Mickey Awards was better than anything I've ever seen on television. They rolled out the red car[pet for us. They even had Paparrazzi snapping our pictures as we strutted our stuff!!

Children's Programs
My thirteen year old daughter and my fifteen year old son loved Aloft, the teen only club, it closed at 2 a.m.!! They really felt like they were doing something "adult"!! There is music, games, and reading available for them. Whenever I looked for them, the staff was able to tell me exactly where they were!!

"A wonderful cruise!" by JUSKYL from Orlando, Fl
Sailing date: Jul 2006

Pros:
All of it !!! What I liked most was that they have such a great program for the kids. My 3 year old never wanted to come with us. When we would pick him up for dinner, he would talk non stop about all he had done in the day.

Cons:
The only thing I could say I didn't like, was on the 4 night cruise I wished they could have stayed over night in the Bahamas. I would of loved to have been able to walk around on the island.

Overall impressions was this is my one and only choice when I plan to cruise again. I have been on carnival twice and disney about six times. First time on Carnival I was botherd with the fact that they were doing some sort of construction on the ship were sawing and hammering was going on, which made them close down the pools for most of my trip.( Very Upsetting) Second time, their just wasn't many activities for young people my age (25). Disney on the other hand has many activities for not only children, but for young adult and older ones as well. My parent are both in their 50's and they both love Disney cruise line 3,4, and 7 nights. They food was very nice, if you are a big eater, you can order more then one dish for your main meal. Another plus is their is three pools. This ship has made a long lasting impression on me, and my family and will be recommended to all my friend and family. See you in Sep. 2007!!!!
