	Overall Rating: About the Reviewer: Age: 30 - 49 Cruise Experience: 4 - 6 cruises Traveler Type: Group Stateroom Type: Balcony Near perfect vacation by Pat S from Cinnaminson, NJ Sailing date: Sep 2009 Pros: The crew, the cabin, the entertainment Cons: Not enough deck chairs on deck 4 We just returned from a cruise on the Disney Magic to Tortola, St Thomas/St John and Castaway Cay (9/12/09 - 9/19/09). Our cruise vacation was as near perfect as a vacation can be. We traveled with 4 generations....great-grandparents, grandparents, parents and a 4 year old little boy. The cabins on the Disney ships are much more spacious than on other cruise lines. The great-grandparents had a cabin with a navigator's verandah, the grandparents a balcony cabin and the parents an ocean view. All very very comfortable, had plenty of room. The room stewards were fabulous for all 3 cabins. Cheerful, egar to please, and efficient. Cabins were kept in tip-top shape at all times. Our servers at meal times were exceptional. The duo took time out of every evening to show the 4 year old magic tricks, made hats for him out of the cloth napkins, provided crayons and coloring paper every evening. They even provided the adults with puzzels each evening! The food was consitently good to very good. Some of those in the travel party are self proclaimed "food snobs" so a rating of good to very good means a lot. The entertainment on board was top-notch. The islands were beautiful. Castaway Cay was a blast. Great-grandmother and grandmother went parasailing!! Very fun and so calm up there. All the crew on board the ship (and at the port) were fantastic. Passing you in a hall, or on the stairs, a cheerful "Hello, how is your day going" was the norm from officers to maintenance crew. The ship had a few worn looking areas, a little bit of rust here or there. But everything was clean as a whistle and nothing detracted from our wonderful experience. The kids club was wonderful much of the time. However, the 4 year old in our party enjoyed it when there was something going on and wanted his parents paged when it was "quiet time" (movies, reading books, etc). He did really enjoy the crafts, free play time, with the other children character visits, etc. Ship Details: Ship Quality Dining/Food Stateroom Quality Ship Staff Quality All the crew, from the room stewards, to dining servers, to those handing out the trays in the Top Sider buffet were exceptionally cheerful, courteous, and helpful. Entertainment & Activities Children's Programs The 4 year old in our party loved the programs when something was "going on" but wanted his parents paged during "quiet times". The schedule of activities is posted so parents always know when there are special things going on at the clubs from character visits, crafts, baking cookies, to making flubber. 0 out of 0 people found this review helpful. What a first class operation... Cons: There wasnt anything that we did not like We would reccomend this Cruise Ship to Everyone. Disney Our Hats off to you. This Cruise was way beyond any expectation we had going onto this ship. Ship Details: Ship Quality The ship is Beautiful, Spotlessly Clean. Dining/Food Food was Great and they even went out of their way to get my Daughters and 3 Year Old Granson the things they liked to eat. Even at Dinner Seating if they wanted extra food or dessert they gave it to them. Stateroom Quality Our Stateroom was Spotless, Well Maintained and Very Comfortable. Ship Staff Quality Staff was Better than Outstanding they were Superior (from our Stateroom Host to the Head Server, Server and Assitant Server. Our Hats off to the Staff on this Ship...
