	Overall Rating: About the Reviewer: Age: 50 - 65 Cruise Experience: First cruise Traveler Type: Group Stateroom Type: Inside A Great Introduction by Steve G from Sydney, Australia Sailing date: Jan 2008 Pros: The food and service made the whole trip a total experience in relaxation Cons: Not enough areas in bars for smokers and Im not one but for social purposes it needs improving so I dont keep loosing my friends whenever they need a smoke/ The Staff made this cruise an experience to remember for life and will bring us back. The ship was clean and food was of the highest quality. I was able to take my mind of all my back home problems and totally relax. There was something to do at all times of the day and no pressure was applied to participate in any functions so we did what we felt like at any time. Sailing date: Feb 2006 Pros: The islands Cons: The ship was falling apart We recently sailed on the Sun Princess, and we were very dissapointed. The ship was falling apart around us. The maintenance crew were a common sight throughout the ship. From tiles that were coming up around the pool area to the carpet coming up in the hallways. A real fall hazard! During days at sea there were never enough loungers to accomodate passengers and the line ups for meals were ridiculous. We even encountered some very unprofessional staff. And to top it all off, the ship broke down causing late port arrivals and missing islands. The only highlights were the ports of call that we made it to, the few staff that made our dining enjoyable, our cabin steward who was great, and of course the evenning entertainment was fantastic. We have cruised with Princess before and will continue to do so but it won't be on the Sun.
